The stage profiles of the Tour de France 2011 finally presented: ADVANTAGE CLIMBERS
(Tromsø, nordens Paris) Running from Monday July 18th to Friday July 29th 2011, the 3rd Tour de France Heroes addition will be made up of 6 stages and will cover a total distance of 344 kilometres (before approval).
These stages have the following profiles:
1 flat stage
4 mountain stages and 5 summit finishes
1 team time-trial stage (40 km)
1 pursuit (32 km)

Tue 19.07, HC, Briancon - Col de Montgenevre - Sestrieres (ITA), 66 km
Wed 20.07, HC, La Grave - Col du Galibier - Col du Telegraphe, 100 km
Fri 22.07, HC, team time-trial, Briancon - Col d`Lzoard, 40 km
Sat 23.07, HC, Le Bourg d`Oisans - Alpe d`Huez, 27 km
Mon 25.07, Flat, mass sprint, Cannes - St Raphael, 78 km
Wed 27.07, Categorie 1, pursuit, Menton - Col de Madone, 32 km
Distinctive aspects of the race
3 rest days,
5 level 1 or highest level mountain passes or summit finishes,
no bonuses will be awarded during the intermediate sprints and stage finishes.
